To get an overview of all data types that you can select when creating custom project fields and their maximum sizes, see the details below.

Type	Description	Maximum Size
Checkbox	Defaults to "false" Displayed as a checkbox in the project's details
Currency	Has two decimal places Shows currency symbol
Date	Date field	Earliest: 01/01/1970 Latest: 12/31/9999
Multi-Select	Provide a selection of available options No more than 250 options Multi-select options: no more than 100 characters no commas allowed sorted alphanumerically deleting an option from the field will remove it everywhere	2,048 characters
Number	Number with configurable decimal places Decimal places cannot be changed once the field has been created	0-3 decimal places
Resource	Provide an extra field for any other resources in your Meisterplan system who should have the same edit rights and notification settings as those assigned Project Manager on a project e.g. Stakeholder, Product Owner, etc. Unavailable in portfolio filters	2,048 characters
Single-Select	Provide a selection of available options. Single-select options: may have Project Score Contribution can be assigned colors can be sorted via drag-and-drop	2,048 characters
Text (single-line)	Single line of text	2,048 characters
Text (multi-line)	Multiple line text field (like Notes)	32,000 characters
URL	http:// is the default type, if no prefix is entered. Supports common link types File links starting with file:/// are not supported and cannot be opened out of Meisterplan. Other links can be opened by clicking on the field value of the URL field in the project's details. Invalid values will be highlighted red	4,096 characters

Availability in Pivot Reports
Please note that project fields of the Text (multi-line) and URL types are not available in Integrated Pivot Reports.
