In the project details, you will find all project information relevant to your organization such as status, approved total effort or milestones. This information is organized in one or more tabs (as configured by your organization).
How to Use the Project Details
You can configure the project details so that they contain exactly the information you need in a project. The configuration applies throughout the Meisterplan system for all projects of the same project type.
In the project details, you can find all project information, and additionally evaluations and plan/actual comparisons at project level as well as status information.
In addition, the project manager can manage the project team's allocations and actual time worked in the project details and view the status of the tasks from external tools.
Required User Rights
To open and view a project's details, your user group does not need to have specific rights.
- To edit the project's details, your user group needs to have the respective rights in the following sections:
- To configure the layout of the project details, your user group needs to have the Manage Project Fields, Project Types/Project Configuration, Navigation and Advanced right.
- You may need additional user rights for certain tabs, fields and trackers within the project details. Find out more in the respective articles.
Where to Find
You can open a project's details from the following views:
- Portfolio Designer
- Team Planner
- List
- BoardPro Premium
- GoalsPro Premium
- RoadmapPro Premium
- Project Overview
Move your cursor over the project and, depending on the view, click either the pencil or the square icon:
Information Panel
Click one of the icons in the right sidebar to open the Information Panel. You can find the project's Overview, Comments, Allocation Comments and Change Log there. If you have connected an external tool via the Task Connector, you can also see the Task Insights there.
