We've updated Meisterplan - check out what's new!
Importing Efforts from Connected Tools
as AllocationsProPremium
With the newest addition to our Task Connector, Project Managers can import resource allocations into Meisterplan directly from estimated efforts in connected tools. With a single click, all relevant resources and their allocations are adapted for the remaining project duration. This ensures realistic planning without manual data entry and keeps your portfolio aligned with project execution.
Select a project connected to a tool such as Jira, then click the link icon in the right sidebar to open the Task Insights section in the Information Panel.
The allocation comparison shows whether the effort from the connected tool matches the allocations in Meisterplan. If there are any discrepancies, click Adapt Allocations to import all effort for the remaining project duration as allocations in Meisterplan.
For further information, see the articles Comparing Jira Effort in the Information Panel and Comparing External Tool Effort in the Information Panel.
Prerequisites
To view information from external tools like Jira within your Meisterplan system, you need to establish a link between the project in Meisterplan and the corresponding project or data in the external tool. To learn how, see the articles Linking Meisterplan Projects to Jira and Connecting Your Tools via the Task API.
For details on the required user rights, see the articles Comparing Jira Effort in the Information Panel and Comparing External Tool Effort in the Information Panel.
