With the latest update to the Project Details, you can now monitor your project risks in Meisterplan. Use the fields ‘impact' and ‘likelihood' to determine the risk level, and add custom fields to reflect your risk management process. Increase planning reliability by identifying potential risks early on, so you can assign a risk owner and plan mitigation measures. This way, you can boost the success rate of your entire project portfolio.

To display risks in the Project Details, you must first add the Risks section to the Project Details under Manage > Types > Project Types. Then select the risk fields you want to display as columns.

Open the Project Details of a project and go to the Risks section. Click Add Risk to add a new risk.

System and Custom Risk Fields

Under Manage > Custom Fields > Risk Fields, you can view and edit system and custom risk fields. On release, the system risk fields Impact, Likelihood, and Risk Level will have three preconfigured options each that you can edit and add to at any time.

To calculate the Risk Level of a risk, the impact is multiplied by the likelihood. The result (the calculated score) is then assigned to the corresponding risk level.

You can also create custom risk fields and add them to the Risks section in the project details view.

Prerequisites

To edit risks, you need the permission Add, Edit, and Delete Risks under Manage > User Groups > Project & Resource Planning > Projects > Detailed Project Rights. On release, all user groups with edit rights for projects will automatically have edit rights for risks.

To configure the Risks section in the project details view, you need the permission System Configuration > Types (Add Form, Details, Overview) under System Administration.
