We've updated Meisterplan - check out what's new!
Task TimelineProPremium
Out of beta, ready for everyday use: with the new Task Timeline, you can visualize tasks from external tools directly in Meisterplan to bridge the planning gap between your teams' Agile backlog and your Portfolio Roadmap. With this view, you can see what is planned in Jira or another linked tool, and what dependencies exist between teams, so that you can adjust big-picture plans when day-to-day tasks move off track.
Select a project that is connected to a tool such as Jira, open its Project Details and select the tab Task Timeline. The read-only view shows you the Jira tasks along with the assigned resources and their dependencies.
You can display the tasks by sprint or by task date. Use filters to display only tasks that have at-risk dependencies or a specific status category.
You can also view tasks from other tools such as Asana if the project is connected to the external tool via the Task Connector.
Learn more in the article Task Timeline in Project Details.
Prerequisites
To be able to display tasks from external tools in the Task Timeline, you need to have the Link Projects and View Task Details via the Task Connector right under Integration Rights.
To see your Jira tasks in the Task Timeline, you need to connect Jira and Meisterplan using our Jira Connector. The article Jira Connector - Overview explains how to do this.
To connect another external tool with Meisterplan, use the Task Connector. You can find all relevant details in the article Task Connector - Overview.
