We've updated Meisterplan - check out what's new!
Quickly See Allocation Deviations between Meisterplan and Connected ToolsProPremium
With the new Allocation Deviation feature, Portfolio Coordinators can now catch bottlenecks before they happen and adjust large-scale plans accordingly when allocations in Meisterplan don’t match with those in your teams' project management tools. Color-code the Portfolio Designer using data provided by the Task Connector to see where there is a deviation between effort in external tools and Meisterplan. Or, see details such as how big these mismatches are in views like the Board and the List.
When you have connected Meisterplan projects with their counterparts in an external tool, you have different options for comparing the effort from the external tool with the Meisterplan allocations by color-coding a view, applying a filter, or adding one or more of three fields to a Meisterplan view such as the List.
Learn more in the article Comparing External Tool Effort in Different Views via the Task Connector.
To learn more about connecting external tools with Meisterplan, see the article Connecting Your Tools via the Task API.
Configure the Threshold for Critical Deviations
Not every deviation is critical. Especially in larger projects, a difference of a few days may not matter and can change again when the project progresses. To focus only on relevant projects, you can configure the percentage of deviation so that only projects with a significant enough deviation will be highlighted in filters, fields, and color schemes.

Updates to the Jira Connector
We have updated the Jira Connector to be as seamless as the Task Connector is in regards to the connection process:
- To see the Jira details in Meisterplan, users no longer need to access their own Jira account. Instead, you can connect to Jira using one dedicated Jira account. Learn more in this article.
- All Meisterplan users with the necessary user rights can now see the Jira details in the Information Panel.
- Configure the deviation threshold and catch allocation deviations between Jira and Meisterplan using fields, filters, or color schemes.
Find more information on the Jira Connector in the Jira Connector section of the Help Center.
