We've updated Meisterplan - check out what's new!
Define the Relevant Information for Each Project TypeProPremium
With this newest update, you can now configure the Project Details for different Project Types. Add and configure custom Project Types based on your organization's needs and select from them when creating new projects. This way, users only see the fields that are relevant to them. This makes it easier to expand Meisterplan to different departments and onboard new users without any unnecessary complexity.
To add or edit project types, open the left sidebar, click Manage and select Project Types. For each project type, you can configure the layout of the project details and the project overview, and also a project score contribution for projects with this type.
You can also use project types to filter views or reports, allowing you to focus on and analyze projects by types.

Changes Requiring Your Attention
Updates to Your Current Configuration
After release, your current configuration of the Project Details and the Project Overview will have become the default project type. All projects in your system will be assigned the standard project type.
With the Manage Project Fields, Project Types, Navigation and Advanced right, you can edit the standard project type and add new project types. To quickly change the project types of several projects, import them with their new project type using the Quick Import: Projects.
Updates to User Group Rights
- Edit Rights for all users: In the user groups under Project Field Rights, there is the new Project Type field that can only have read or edit rights. On release, all user groups have edit rights for the project types. You can quickly change this by dragging the chip to the Read Only section in all concerned user groups.
- Renamed User Right: Under Manage > User Groups, the user right "Manage Project Fields, Project Details, Project Overview, Navigation and Advanced" has been renamed to Manage Project Fields, Project Types, Navigation and Advanced.
