Required User Rights

To access the Export to Excel, the following rights are required:

Under Integration Rights, you need to have the Export Data right.
To update project fields, you need to have at least Read Only rights for the respective project fields.
To export projects and project data from a specific portfolio, access rights to the portfolio are required.

To access the Quick Import: Projects, the following rights are required:

Under Integration Rights, you need to have the Import Data right.
Under Project and Program Rights, you need to have at least the option Projects with Logged-In User as Project Manager.
Under Detailed Project and Program Rights, you need to have the Add Projects and Programs right.
Under Project Field Rights, you need to have the Edit right for the Project Key field.
To import projects into the Plan of Record, you need to have the Edit Plan of Record right; to import them into a scenario, you need to have the edit rights for the respective scenario.

To update additional project data, you may also need the following rights:

To update project fields, you need to have the Edit right for the respective project fields.
To import allocations via the list or matrix, you need to have either the right Resource Managers Can Always Edit Allocations of Their Own Roles and Resources, or under Edit Allocations, at least the option Role Allocations.
To import milestones, you need to have the Add, Change and Delete Milestones and Milestone Dependencies right.
To import financial events, you need to have Add, Change and Delete Financial Events right.
