Question: I cannot add or open the Meisterplan app in Microsoft Teams.
Answer: Follow these steps
- Check the Teams assignment:
Under Microsoft Teams Admin Center > Teams apps > Manage apps > Meisterplan/Meisterplan EU, confirm Allowed, verify that the app status is set to Allowed, grant the required consent, and make the app Available to the intended users or groups. - Complete Microsoft 365 deployment:
Go to Microsoft 365 Admin Center → Settings → Integrated apps → Get apps → Meisterplan/Meisterplan EU → Get it now. Review thepermissions, select the target audience if prompted, and complete deployment. - Make the agent available:
Go to Microsoft 365 Admin Center → Agents → All agents → Registry → Meisterplan/Meisterplan EU → Users. Set Available for the intended users/group; keep Installed for set to No one if you do not want the agent to be installed automatically. Select Update and verify that the status is Available.
Question: I've tried all of the above but the agent is still not working.
Answer: Check the following symptoms and recommended action:
| What you see | What to do |
| Teams: permission denied | Verify Meisterplan/Meisterplan EU is explicitly Allowed and Available for this user in Teams. If your tenant is not unified, also verify the Microsoft 365 deployment. |
| Agent absent from Registry | Deploy Meisterplan/Meisterplan EU via Microsoft 365 → Integrated apps, then refresh the Agent Registry. |
| Registry: Not available | Open the agent, select Users, and configure Available to. Assign the intended users or group, then select Update. |
| Registry: Available; user cannot find agent | Verify the user's group assignment, review the Microsoft 365 agent access settings, and allow time for Microsoft client propagation. |
| Agent opens; Meisterplan actions fail | Verify the user's sign-in status, Meisterplan permissions, and the agent/MCP connection. |
