Add Milestone StatusAll Editions

With our newest update, you can add pre-defined statuses to your milestones to display when they are on or off-track, or if they are already completed. This new field gives you a clear overview of how all projects are progressing, allowing you to react when crucial milestones may be in trouble.

Open the project details of a project and select the Milestones tab. In the Status column, you can set and change the status of the milestones by clicking directly into the corresponding field and selecting a pre-defined value from the dropdown list. A milestone is considered achieved when it has been assigned the status Done.

In the Portfolio Designer, you can now also specify the status of a new milestone when adding it.

To identify potential risks at an early stage, you can filter milestones by their status in the Roadmap as well as in the milestone list within the Portfolio Dashboard:

Prerequisite

To set and change the status of milestones, you need the Add, Change and Delete Milestones and Milestone Dependencies right under Detailed Project and Program Rights.

To edit Milestones while you are in the Plan of Record, you need to have the Edit Plan of Record right; to edit them in a scenario, you need to have the edit rights for the respective scenario.
