Opening the Filter Settings

Click the funnel icon above the resource, teams, and role list to open the associated filter settings.

Filtering Resources, Teams, and Roles

You may filter resources, teams, and roles by any of the following properties.

• Overallocation: display resources, teams, and roles that are overallocated by the specified degree or more.
• Primary Roles: display resources and teams with the selected primary roles.
• Resources: display selected resources, teams, and roles.
  • Please note: This filter is only available without aggregation (see below).
• Skills: display resources and teams with all of the selected skills
  • Please note: This filter is only available without aggregation (see below).
  • This filter has no effect on roles.

Some filters only available without aggregation
The filters for Resources, Skills and Resource Score are only available if, in the Portfolio Designer Settings, you have selected Aggregation > None.

By default, all filters are off as shown in the screenshot. When filters are active, the filter icon above the list of resources, teams, and roles has an orange background.

When you reload the Portfolio Designer (e.g. when you log in the next time), all settings except for Allocated Resources are reset to their default.
