This article lists server system requirements for the on-premise installation of Meisterplan.
See also Client System Requirements.
- processor (CPU): Dual Core, 2.6 GHz (AMD or Intel)
- available memory (RAM): 12 GB
- available disc space (HDD): 30 GB
- Linux Ubuntu 16.04 LTS 64-bit
- CentOS 7 64-bit
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 7 64-bit
We recommend to install Meisterplan on a dedicated host or virtual machine with no other services running. The operation in a cluster environment (e.g. in a Kubernetes cluster) is currently not supported for Meisterplan on-premise installations.
The Docker container platform is required to setup and run the application. Meisterplan works with both the Docker Community Edition and the Docker Enterprise Edition (may incur additional costs). The following table shows you which Docker edition works on which supported Linux distribution and provides links to the complete Docker installation instructions:
|Linux Ubuntu 16.04 LTS 64-bit||https://docs.docker.com/install/linux/docker-ce/ubuntu/||https://docs.docker.com/install/linux/docker-ee/ubuntu/|
|CentOS 7 64-bit||https://docs.docker.com/install/linux/docker-ce/centos/||https://docs.docker.com/install/linux/docker-ee/centos/|
|Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 7 64-bit||(not supported on RHEL)||https://docs.docker.com/install/linux/docker-ee/rhel/|
We recommend using Docker 18.06 or higher to ensure a trouble-free experience with Meisterplan.
Additionally, an email server with a working SMTP login is required in order to use some functionalities.
