This article describes how to auto-provision users with Okta to Meisterplan.
- Add Meisterplan as an app in Okta, and configure SAML as described in our documentation.
- In Okta, under Applications > General, click Enable SCIM Provisioning:
- Next, configure your integration under Settings > Integration.
- For the SCIM connector base URL, input either https://api.us.meisterplan.com/scim/v2 or https://api.eu.meisterplan.com/scim/v2, depending on if your system is hosted in the US or the EU.
- For the Unique identifier field for users, enter userName.
- Under Supported provisioning actions, uncheck Import New Users and Profile Updates and Import Groups.
- Under Supported provisioning actions, check Push New Users, Push Profile Updates and Push Groups
- Under HTTP Header > Authorization > Bearer, enter the API token that you generated for auto-provisioning.
- Next, configure provisioning in Settings under To App.
- Enable Create Users, Update User Attributes and Deactivate Users.
- Disable Sync Password.
- Under Applications > Assignments, you will add the people and groups that should be synced with Meisterplan. In order to do this, make sure that to-be-provisioned users have a primary email address set, as Meisterplan requires an email address.
- Under Applications > Push Groups, you will choose the groups by name or rule that should be synced with Meisterplan
- Finally, map attributes for users. Disable mapping for all attributes except for Username, Given name, Family name and Primary email type.
