In the Meisterplan Product Roadmap, you can get a comprehensive overview of all current features that are under consideration, planned, in beta phase or released. The Product Roadmap also allows you to leave a comment or a vote on a feature.
Below, we have answered the most frequently asked questions about the Product Roadmap.
Question: How can I vote for a feature?
Answer: In the Meisterplan Product Roadmap, click on a feature card and scroll to the end of the card. Next to the question, How important is this to you?, you can select one of three options. Please also add a few words explaining why and in which cases this feature is important to you. Please note that to submit your feedback for the first time, you are required to verify your identity by email.
Question: How do I leave a comment?
Answer: To leave a comment on a feature, you need to vote (see above), and then you can add a comment with details on why it is important to you, your use cases and/or feature ideas. Your feedback will be directly forwarded to our Meisterplan team, so we can consider these insights in the product development.
Question: Why do I have to verify my email address?
Once your email address is verified, you can vote and comment on as many features as you’d liketo until you are signed out again. The verification process needs to be repeated each time you sign on.
Question: Who can see my vote and my comment?
Answer: Your votes and comments are only visible to the Meisterplan team, not to other users.
Question: What does ‘Under Consideration’ mean?
Answer: In the ‘Under Consideration’ section, we list a selection of all feature ideas that we consider possible next steps in our Product Roadmap. These ideas have been qualified by our Product Management team, and we are now looking for feedback to better understand and support your use cases.
Please note that there is no guarantee that the listed feature ideas will be implemented in the future as they are not yet planned for implementation.
Question: What happens when I vote and give feedback for features in the sections ‘Planned’ or ‘In Beta’?
Answers: While the features in these stages are already planned to be implemented, they are still a work in progress. Therefore, your feedback will help us to ensure your use case is supported by the new feature.
Question: How much influence does my vote have? Will the features with the largest number of votes be automatically implemented next?
Answer: We give a lot of consideration to feature ideas with a large number of votes when planning the next steps in our product pipeline. So, your vote has an influence on our prioritization of upcoming features.
That being said, your feedback is only one of several important factors. There may be additional considerations (such as technical or strategic reasons) that lead to features being implemented before others with more votes. Please also note that the Product Roadmap only displays public votes and not the entire feedback we have received for a feature.
Question: Which features are shown on the Product Roadmap?
Answer: In the Product Roadmap, you will mainly see major features & ideas that impact a user’s experience. For an overview of all released features, including minor improvements and deprecations, please see our Release Notes.
Question: Which details should I include in my feedback?
Answer: The following three aspects are especially relevant to us when processing your feedback:
- What is your current Lean PPM role?
- What do you want to achieve with the feature?
- What is the real problem? What is missing for you to achieve the desired outcome?
Question: How can I share a feature with a colleague?
Answer: Open the feature card and in the top right below the picture, click the square icon. Next, click "Copy public link", and the link will be automatically saved to your clipboard:
Question: How do I get access to a feature that is currently in closed beta?
Answer: In the Product Roadmap, you can vote for features and provide feedback, but you cannot get access to a closed beta feature. Instead, contact your Customer Success Manager or send a support ticket from within your Meisterplan system.
Question: How do I add a request for a new feature that is not currently on the Product Roadmap?
Answer: In the Product Roadmap, click the Submit Idea button in the top right and describe your request in the dialog window. Answering questions such as 'What do you want to achieve with the functionality?', 'How would the functionality help you?' or 'Which use case would the functionality support?' are especially helpful. Under How important is this to you?, let us know how relevant this feature is to your work.

Question: Is the Product Roadmap only available in English? Does my feedback have to be in English?
Answer: Currently, the Product Roadmap is only available in English. However, you can provide your feedback in German, if this is more convenient for you.
