What's Possible with the Meisterplan Connector for Salesforce

Once you've installed the Meisterplan Connector and connected Meisterplan with Salesforce, you can automate pushing qualified sales leads into Meisterplan, and keep the leads updated on details. The Meisterplan Connector for Salesforce allows you to configure the stage and threshold for importing sales opportunities into Meisterplan so new projects are included in time for your planning. You can also import existing opportunities.

Changes in Salesforce can be synced to Meisterplan, but not vice versa, so your Salesforce data will not be changed.

Prerequisites

• Required Access Level: Your user account must have the Access Meisterplan APIs and Connect External Applications right.
• System Configuration: 
  • API Token: Salesforce connects to Meisterplan via the REST API. Therefore, you need an API token. We recommend creating a dedicated user for the Salesforce integration and granting them the required user rights (see above). Then, log in to this user's account and create the API token.
  • Custom Project Field: To import Salesforce opportunities, your Meisterplan system needs to have a custom project field with the API name 'cust_stage_gate'. In Meisterplan trials, this field is usually called 'Stage Gate' or 'Order Status'. Check your Meisterplan system and add a field with this API name if necessary.

• Required Access Level: You need to be a Salesforce System Administrator (or equivalent) with Setup access.

Pricing

Using the Meisterplan Connector for Salesforce requires an additional fee set by Salesforce. The cost is USD 150 per company per month and is billed via Meisterplan.
