Enhanced Program Planning CapabilitiesAll Editions

Meisterplan’s newest improvement helps you plan on the program level. By adding fields like Program Manager, Status, and Goal to a dedicated program details view, and creating custom program fields, you can reliably plan in Meisterplan while more accurately reflecting the structure of your entire portfolio.

To open the Program Details view, hover over a program in the Portfolio Designer and click the pencil icon:

You see a preconfigured standard view with fields that are already filled in. To change the view, click Configure the Details. If needed, you can also customize the Program Overview.

There are a number of system fields available for programs, such as the program manager or the planned costs of all contributing projects. Additionally, you have the option to create your own custom fields.

Use Custom Program Fields for Your Planning

Under Manage > Custom Fields > Program Fields, you can now add and edit your own program fields, just as you do with project fields. These fields can be used in the configuration of the program details and in the Program Overview, which you can now also customize individually.

Customize Program Details Flexibly and According to Your Needs

Under Manage > Types > Program > Program Details, you can define which information is displayed in a program's details and how it is structured. Customize your program details view by adding, renaming, and arranging tabs, sections, and fields as needed using drag and drop.

Once you complete your configuration, the new view is automatically applied to all programs. The settings you configure apply system-wide for all users. Depending on their individual permissions, users will only see the tabs and sections they have access to.
