Import Actual Time Worked from JiraProPremium

With the newest addition to our Jira Connector, Meisterplan is even better equipped for the real-life workflows of your teams. Actual Time Worked can now be automatically imported from your Jira instance to your Meisterplan. This update improves reporting capabilities for your Portfolio Coordinators by getting up-to-date actuals data while your teams don’t have to perform any extra data maintenance.

Open a Jira link under Integrations > Jira Connector and check the box for Import Tracked Time from Jira Work Items under Effort & Actual Time Worked. If you want to include subtasks, additionally check the box for Include Subtasks.

Every night, the time tracked in Jira is automatically transferred to Meisterplan as Actual Time Worked. This includes both new time entries and updates to existing ones. This ensures that your Meisterplan data is always up to date and provides an accurate reflection of the actual work performed.

Jira Link Owner

With this release, we are introducing the Jira Link Owner who is required for automated imports from Jira into Meisterplan. This is a Meisterplan user that has the necessary user rights for importing actual time worked into Meisterplan. Additionally, these imports are recorded under their name in the Change Log.

Prerequisites

• To access Jira links, you need the Manage Task Connector right under Integration Rights.
• To import actual time worked into Meisterplan, the Jira Link Owner needs to have the following rights in addition to the Manage Task Connector right:
  • Under Project and Program Rights > Edit Project and Programs, at least the Projects with Logged-In User as Project Manager right.
  • Under Detailed Project and Program Rights > Access Actuals, the Edit right.
  • Under Integration Rights, the Import Data right.
