Quickly Replacing Resource Allocations in the
Team PlannerAll Editions

With this update, you can reassign allocations from resources to other available resources with just a few clicks in the Team Planner. You can do this in both Flexible and Time Grid mode. This makes resolving resource conflicts through the Team Planner even more convenient without having to switch views or modes.

To replace a resource on an allocation segment or for the entire duration of a project, select the resource you would like to replace and select the three dots next to the allocation to be reassigned. Then, select Replace Resource:

Then, type the name of the resource you would like to staff to this allocation instead.

You can also now easily unstaff a resource allocation back to the role for single, or multiple, allocation segments. Learn more about both of these functionalities in the article Team Planner - Reassigning Resource Allocations.

Add Remaining Capacity in the Team PlannerAll Editions

To quickly add a resource's remaining capacity to the selected allocation segment, simply click on a cell in the Grid mode of the Team Planner where the resource is already allocated to a project but still has some remaining capacity. Click the three dots on top of the allocation segment and select Add Remaining Capacity.
