Meisterplan for Jira
All customer systems now include Meisterplan for Jira. Meisterplan now gives you visibility into work and resources across all teams, including work managed in Jira. Show progress, predict completion dates, and get a complete picture across all of your organization's agile and traditional projects!
For linked projects, you can see directly in Meisterplan which associated Jira issues are still open and when you can expect completion.
Import work from Jira quickly and easily as new Meisterplan projects, or link your existing projects with any Jira data using JQL!
In this video you see how Meisterplan for Jira works:
You can find a complete overview as well as technical requirements in the article Overview of Meisterplan for Jira.
Display Project Data from Jira
Gain insight into agile projects: Which work items belong to the project? Which have already been completed, which have not? and When can you expect completion? For each Meisterplan project linked to Jira data, you'll receive this information in the new sidebar on the right of the screen:
A complete description of available project data can be found in the article View Project Details from Jira.
Import from Jira
In order to quickly map the work of agile teams in Meisterplan, simply import any Jira data as new Meisterplan projects:
In the article Importing Jira Data as Meisterplan Projects, we explain the import step by step.
Link Existing Projects with Jira Data
If you are already planning projects in Meisterplan for which the work is (at least partially) organized in Jira, you can link existing projects with any Jira data:
We explain how to do this step by step in the article Linking Meisterplan Projects to Jira. Please note that before linking a project in your Meisterplan system, you must have created at least one "Jira Link" (see the following section).
Manage Linked Jira Instances ("Jira Links")
With Meisterplan for Jira you can plan work from any number of Jira instances (Jira Cloud or Jira Server). Each Jira instance is created as a "Jira Link" in Meisterplan. Jira Links can be created and managed in the new administrator view in the left sidebar:
You can read more about this in the article Manage Jira Links.
