What Will Change
Actuals - Time Worked, a new feature coming soon to Meisterplan, will enable you to compare your project plans with the actual performance of your projects. Learn more in the Upcoming Release: Actuals - Time Worked announcement article.
Changes to the Project Form
The Project Team section is one of the optional sections you can configure for your project form. With the Actuals - Time Worked release, it will offer more information on who's assigned to a project and the expected workload. The section will become wider in the process, which means that if you have configured the section on the project form, the project form layout for all users in your system may change:
This will affect all customers who have configured the Project Team section on the project form, regardless of whether they decide to use Actuals - Time Worked or not.
How Your Team Gets Access
This action requires the Manage Users and User Groups right.
By default, users will not have access to Actual Time Worked due to its potentially sensitive nature. You'll be able to grant access per User Group using the Access Actuals - Time Worked right, which will be part of the upcoming release:
All user groups will have read only rights to the new project field Approved Total Effort by default. However, they can only view this field in a project's details if you have already configured it.
You can remove the read only rights or grant edit rights by changing the Project Field Rights per user group.

To-Dos for Administrators
1) Optimize Project Form Layout
This action requires the Manage Project Fields, General Settings and Project Settings right.
For customers who have configured the Project Team section on their project form, we recommend setting some time aside for optimizing the project form layout after release. This page will be updated with a more specific timeframe once the release date is closer.
To update the project form layout for all users, click Manage in the left-hand Sidebar and select Project Settings. You can then rearrange sections using Drag & Drop.
If you're interested in Actuals - Time Worked, you can add the new Allocation Tracker section to your project form.

2) Plan User Group Configuration (optional)
If your team is interested in using the upcoming Actuals - Time Worked functionality, it would be a good idea to plan ahead which User Groups should have access. This will help make the roll-out of the feature in your instance a smoother process.
Note for Beta Participants
If you are already participating in the Beta, all data imports and configurations you've made will remain unchanged after release. If you would like to grant more Meisterplan users access to this feature, follow the description above under How Your Team Gets Access.
