We've updated Meisterplan - check out what's new!
Actuals - Time Worked
With Actuals - Time Worked, you can now compare your project plans with the actual performance of your projects directly within Meisterplan. See at a glance if a project is on track and take action if it isn’t. You can also get a new estimate of the total time worked at completion by combining the actual time worked with the future planned allocations.
Start by importing Actual Time Worked from your time-tracking tool into Meisterplan, and regularly update Actual Time Worked to stay current. Find out more in the Quick Import for Actual Time Worked article.
Once you have imported Actual Time Worked, you can view it in the Project Details, in the Project List and the Board view, as well as export it to other BI tools with the Reporting API.
In the Actuals - Time Worked article, you can find more information on this feature and how to use it.
Changes to the Project Details
With the release of Actuals - Time Worked, the Project Team section in your project details will be extended to include Actuals information per role or resource:
If you have configured the Project Team section in the project settings, its layout will likely change for all your users. In the Actuals - Time Worked: Release To-Dos for Adminstrators article, you will find details on how to quickly adapt the layout of the project details.
Approved Total Effort
To increase the value of Actual Time Worked and allow for more comparisons, you can now configure the Approved Total Effort field in the Project Details, the Project List and the cards in the Board view. This allows you track Actual Time Worked not only against planned allocations, but also against the approved effort to find out early if you need to take action.
Find out more about Approved Total Effort in this article.
"Allocation Total" Renamed
As part of the Actuals release, the "Allocation Total" has been renamed to "Planned Allocations Total" everywhere in Meisterplan to ensure transparency and clarity throughout the application.
