Two New Views to Visualize Your Plans
Drive better decisions and align management and teams on the path forward with two new Meisterplan views. The Roadmap offers a long-term, strategic perspective and the Project List offers a clear grid view for quick information.
Share Your Plan in the Roadmap
The new Roadmap is a high-level view that helps you present your plan and communicate decisions with the organization. You can choose how projects are grouped on the timeline. Group by Business Goal, for example, to convey how projects are connected to your company strategy.
When you open the Roadmap for the first time, you must select the grouping before you can access the view. You can change the grouping at any time.
You can also export the Roadmap as an image file (.png) to easily share it with others. Find out all you need to know about the Roadmap here.
Get a Quick Overview with the Project List
Display and compare project data in the new Project List to prepare and conduct meetings with management or project managers. Identify projects that need your attention by sorting them by project fields, such as Status or Stage Gate.
Choose what data is displayed and focus on the project details that are important to you by clicking Configure Columns.
You can export the data as an Excel file (.xlsx) for sharing or editing. Find out all you need to know about the Project List here.
Improved Display Proportions in Integrated Reports
We adjusted the proportions between the chart and the table in integrated reports so that the table is now more visible on smaller screens. Additionally, you can now adjust the size of the chart by moving the black line between the chart and the table with your cursor.
Changed Menu Navigation in the Header
The portfolio and scenario selection in the header now contain the option View All Portfolios/Scenarios below the recently viewed portfolios or scenarios. Clicking on this option opens a list with all scenarios or portfolios to which you have access rights. This lets you quickly select your desired portfolio or scenario in all views including the new Roadmap and Project List:
Please note that the Manage Portfolios/Scenarios option and the Resource Pool are currently not available in the Roadmap, Project List and Reports views. This functionality will be restored at a future date.
Resolved Issues Since the Last Update
We improved the performance for selecting and moving programs with many projects.
