We've updated Meisterplan - check out what's new!
You’d like to import new projects and resources quickly to include them in your planning? With our new import function, simply copy your data from a spreadsheet and paste it into Meisterplan with a few clicks.
If you’ve always wanted to import data into a scenario, with this function this is now possible.
Read on for details:
New Import and Export Menu
All import and export options for the Portfolio Designer are now located in a separate menu:
Previously, these options were located under More Actions.
Easy Import of Spreadsheet Data
Click the new Import and Export menu (see above) and select Import Projects or Import Resources. For importing project data, you only need a project name, a start and a finish date, and for resource data, only a name.
If your imported column name matches an existing Meisterplan field, Meisterplan will save you the effort and assign it automatically. If you’d like to change a field assignment, you can just drag and drop it to the desired location.
For more details on the new import function, see the article on Importing Data from Spreadsheets.
Evaluate projects from 20 years ago
You would like to analyze projects that are more than ten years old? Now you can view and analyze long-running projects in Meisterplan, even if they date back twenty years.
Just set the date range to your preferred start year or monthly rolling period:
Filtering out Non-Portfolio Roles in the Resource Section
When filtering the resource section of the Portfolio Designer, you can now filter out non-portfolio roles under Primary Roles:
Previously, only portfolio roles were available for filtering.
Toolbar on Smaller Screens
If you use Meisterplan on a smaller screen, the toolbar now displays icons only:
Before, the zoom level buttons were sometimes covered by the toolbar on smaller screens.
