Our modern Reporting API has replaced the older technology of the reporting database. The reporting database will no longer be available for existing systems that never activated the database nor for new test systems created since 09/10/2020.
The reporting database will remain active in existing systems that are currently using the feature. We are happy support you with any questions concerning the migration to the new Reporting API before replacing the reporting database. Activating the Reporting Database
To access the reporting data with an external tool, the Activate reporting database to provide planning data for external access option must be checked.
Note: for on premise systems, activation of the reporting database is only possible after it has been configured. If you are an on premise customer and wish to activate the reporting database, please contact your Meisterplan consultant.
Reporting Database Access Information
Server path, database name, username and password are displayed read only. Click the button with the eye icon to display the password so you can copy it. Click the button with the arrow icon to generate a new password.
Plan of Record and Scenario Data
Once the extraction is activated, all plan of record data will be exported. The extraction of scenario data must be activated in a scenario's properties. Up to ten scenarios may be included in the reporting database.
Financial, Allocation and Capacity Data
When the data extraction is activated, nearly all information will be available in the reporting database by default. To get allocations, capacities and some financials prepared by week or month, the extraction has to be activated separately.
Monthly / Weekly
Check one or both extractions to get the information prepared by month and/or week.
Monthly extraction will automatically be selected when you activate the reporting database, looking 12 months ahead.
Number of Time Periods
For each extraction, monthly or weekly, the count of periods before current date and periods after current date can be set.
Please note that the maximum amount of time periods is 60 for each monthly and weekly extraction.
Please also note that a higher amount of time periods takes more time to process.
Available Reporting Tables and Views
The activation of the reporting data extraction is the global condition to fill the reporting tables and views with data.
Some tables and views will only provide data when the monthly or weekly extraction condition is set.
The names of tables and views requiring monthly or weekly extraction end in "monthly" or "weekly".
