Custom Resource Project FieldAll Editions

We’re excited to announce that you can now create custom fields with the type Resource and configure them in the Project Details. When a resource-linked user is assigned to a custom Resource field within a project, they will have the same edit rights as the project manager and begin receiving email notifications about project changes. This makes it easier for stakeholders in roles such as an additional project manager, sponsor or initiator to stay informed and take action when needed. For example, a different project manager for phase two of a project can now make their role visible within Meisterplan and make relevant updates.

To set up a custom project field of the type resource in your system, go to Manage > Custom Project Fields and select Add Project Field > Resource. 

Afterwards, you can configure this custom project field in the Project Details, Project Overview, Project List, Board and Roadmap.
